Application Process
To apply for seat at DESA please follow the steps below:
Grades K-1
1. Apply through the DCSD School Choice process http://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/school-choice/
2. Students are selected through the DCSD School Choice lottery process
Grades 2-3
1. Apply through the DCSD School Choice process http://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/school-choice/
2. Students must have a 3.0 GPA reflected on their 1st semester report card
3. Students are selected through the DCSD School Choice lottery process
Grades 4-7
1. Apply through the DCSD School Choice process http://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/school-choice/
2. Students must have a 3.0 GPA reflected on their 1st semester report card
3. Complete the DESA Audition Application
4. Submit the DESA Audition Application in person at DESA by Friday, March 18, 2016
5. Receive an audition date and time
6. Complete the DESA Audition Process and Submit 9 week report card reflecting a 3.0 GPA
7. Students are selected through the DESA Audition Process
